Well I am sorry it did not work out for you. Typically the right experiences burn instead of carrydown. However you are correct the ball does need friction to work. I experience the same thing but I am left handed we don't get the burn we do get carry down. I just switch to something with surface for awhile then back.

I used the Solar Eclipse tonight. It was fine during practice, but as soon as the oil carried down it would'nt finish. I tried a few adjustments, but nothing seemed to work. I ended going back to my primary ball. I used drilling pattern 3 for the ball, but unless the lanes are extremely dry, I cannot get the ball to respond. When I practiced this past Sunday, the lanes were very dry, and the ball it worked well. Tonight, there was more oil and when it carried down, I couldn't get the ball to respond to the pattern. During practice, I love the wat the ball reacted. Guess I need to practice further before I make it my first choice.
